Product Details

Shubhr means radiant. Face is the most attractive feature of human body. First step in Ayurvedic face care is to cleanse, tone and nourish the skin. Proper cleansing and toning is done by removing dead cells, clearing clogged pores , removing toxins & pollutants without stripping the skin of natural oils and moisture content. Enzymes in raw honey clarify skin and keep pores clear and clean. Honey is loaded with antioxidants, enzymes and other nutrients that nourish, cleanse and hydrate the skin. Nagkesar acts as anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties and helps in clearing skin. Anantmool is natural blood purifier and removes heat and inflammation from skin. Aloevera is an excellent moisturizer and its antimicrobial property helps in treatment of acne. It contains vitamin C & E and helps to diminish the lines and wrinkles leaving skin soft, supple and hydrated. Rose essential oil is refreshing and uplifting.

My take on the Product

Packaging/Availability: The Blue Nectar Shubhr Radiance Honey Face Cleanser comes in a blue colored pump bottle. When i received the face cleanser i got the bottle and pump nozzle separately. This kind of packaging is really sensible as there is less spill over and wastage of product during transit. The bottle is transparent hence it becomes easy to keep a check on product usage. The Blue Nectar facial cleanser is available only and only on their official website.

Consistency/ Fragrance: The Blue Nectar Shubhr Radiance Honey Face Cleanser has thick consistency and is semi gel based. The liquid is burn orange in colour jut like most of ayurvedic face washes. The best thing about the cleanser is its fragrance which lingers around for a very longtime.

Does the Blue Nectar Shubhr Radiance Honey Face Cleanser live up to all the claims it makes?

Proper cleansing and toning: It cleans the face without stripping natural oils and does not dry out skin.

Removing dead cells, clearing clogged pores , removing toxins & pollutants without stripping the skin of natural oils and moisture content : It moisturizers the skin, helps in getting rid of dead cells but somehow i felt that my pores got more clogged after using this face wash.

Clarify skin and removes heat and inflammation from skin, helps in treatment of acne. It works very slowly on reducing the acne growth, inflammation and redness, but it does not completely deal with problem. I did see my skin breaking out with mild pimples after using this face wash. It does not work on white heads.

Helps to diminish the lines and wrinkles leaving skin soft, supple and hydrated, refreshing and uplifting : It keeps the skin hydrated all long the day. It does feel refreshing but i din’t find any uplifting properties in it.

In my view this face wash is best meant for dry to combination skin.

Rating: 3/5

Final Recommendation:

If you have dry to combination this face wash and  if Ayurvedic products work for you then you must try this face wash. If you have oily skin then you can easily give this a skip.
